This in house deployment is used by the IS division, who runs a
round-the-clock and globally accessed digital business engine for the entire
Infosys group of companies with many applications and packages on multiple
technology platforms.
This project was deployed to bring innovation to its operations and govern
the digital business engine to support the dynamism in the market trends.
With the objective of managing higher demands and quicker turnaround time,
PEP focused on the Application Development and Maintenance stages by automating
processes using three components: Templating engine, CodeGen, Static Code
Analyzer and PETRA – Performance testing phase.
While the templating engine helps developers to automatically generate web
pages for rapid prototyping, the CodeGen analyzer checks .NET managed code
assemblies for conformance to the IS department's Coding standards and Coding
Best Practices.
PETRA goes a step further and syncs up with VSTS (Visual Studio Team System)
to create a unique performance testing platform.
