Intelenet Global Services is a multi-location BPO Service provider with
delivery centres across India. The paper- based process had its limitations in
terms of delayed responses that caused dissatisfaction to end users due to
approvers unavailability, incomplete information provided in the requests, large
volumes of papers generated by the system and retrieval of evidences during
audits. The ITRS was a proactive project conceptualized by the IT department at
Intelenet Global Services to put together an efficient process to tackle the
pain area of the paper-based IT requisition system. This solution was developed
using existing hardware and software thus cutting down cost.
The system started showing returns almost immediately. There has been 90%
improvement in TAT for 17 different processes. It's flexible enough to automate
other processes in the organization like procurement, transportation management,
etc.
After initial deployment at a single location in Mumbai, it has been extended
to other locations in Navi Mumbai, Chennai and Noida as well.
