Mars Hotels and Restaurants : Consolidated Day End Process
With operational processes being automated, Mars group has cut both costs and time

Mars Hotels and Restaurants has 24 retail outlets and seven restaurants
scattered across the city of Mumbai. These outlets run a POINT OF SALE (POS)
application for managing day-to-day business operations. To do away with the
hassles; the company re-designed the existing operating process. Now, all
outlets and restaurants are connected on Internet and on a centralized server
having enough space to store day end routine files of each outlet. The new
process simplified carrying out daily routine tasks saving six hours on a daily
basis. Now it takes a maximum of five minutes to finish the day-end tasks.
