Amodern health care institute in Gurgaon promoted by Apollo Tyres, the
Institute has implemented eHIS project to create a paperless and filmless
environment in which medical and nursing staff can work online in more cost
effective and accurate manner. The aim of the project is to enhance patient
safety with generation of instant alerts and reducing medication errors. The
project has eliminated the need for large medical record charts as everything
has been posted online. Doctors as well as other medical staff can easily
follow-up a patient's medical history. Images of Radiology, Endoscopy,
Echocardiography etc can also be accessed by doctors anytime. The project
provides concise and easy to read summaries to the patients. Incidentally the
project has been implemented in a very short time of six months.
