ICICI Prudential : Priority Circle Sale

This application enabled ICICI Pridential to manage its HNI customer base, leading to a 300% jump in revenue

Tuesday, May 06, 2008

Apart from its standard product line and services, ICICI Prudential caters to High Net worth Individuals. This segment is serviced by dedicated managers who are responsible for offering suitable insurance products based on a customer's needs. Earlier, they didn't have any standardized process or automated system to keep track of customers and their information. This caused loss of valuable business and revenue. And they were in a soup if an advisor left the organization, as there was no means for them to pursue a lead or contact which was handled by that particular advisor. Hence the concept of the “Priority Circle Sale” was devised. This helped the company improve its customer focus.

The solution is based on a clustered Bea Web Logic App Server, with an Oracle 10G database serving the backend. The implementation of this application has enabled ICICI Prudential to maintain traceability of crucial HNI customers associated to different advisors. It is easier now to track those “Orphan” customers who had no related MPC/ advisor.
