Registration of land records involves a lot of tedious tasks such as maintenance of fee book registers, determination of market value of properties, writing endorsement details, maintaining volumes of documents and building indexes for retrieval later on. Computerization of records and automation of the routine processes such as generation of transaction IDs and receipts, updation of stamp duties, registration of signature and fingerprint records helps a great deal in taking the pain out of the whole process for the common man. Some of the features of public importance include: a help desk facility for the citizen to determine the market value of property, stamp duty, registration fees and other fees payable, data collection regarding executants/claimant, generation of Query Number for knowing the Stamp Duty and Registration, fees of a deed before its construction by submitting the deed's information in a prescribed form, automatic generation of Receipts in the prescribed forms after receiving the fees, maintenance of accounts, and imaging of registered document with the entire image document handling tools. The whole system ensures that the public can at least expect to get the work done within a day, it not within an hour.
