eSys is headquartered in Singapore, but its functioning is spread across
branch offices in 31 countries, each of them having different and specific
localization needs. The company required a global business solution that could
easily meet these requirements. For example, to take advantage of reduced
business costs in India, eSys moved its world-wide back office operations. As a
result, key localization requirements for the Indian operations were tax
environment, payroll, customer relationship mgmt, product returns mgmt, and
region-wide invoicing. MS Business Solutions-Navision software was chosen by
eSys executives to automate and integrate the company's various functions and to
meet the needs of its various subsidiaries. The company selected All e
Technologies to implement the solution.
All e Technologies worked with eSys and the separate localization needs of
various eSys subsidiaries could be met by having separate databases for each
subsidiary. However, all databases reside on a central server located in
Singapore, using a single installation of MS –Navision. It can accommodate needs
of different geographies, by having a centralized architecture, which
consolidates the country's operations, streamlines refund and merchandise
exchanges, Improves efficiency and responsiveness to customers, provides
real-time, accurate overview of fixed assets, maintains comprehensive employee
records, and has Localized the solution to meet local business needs.
