Sonic Biochem has upgraded its desktop based ERP to web based ERP so employees can access the information from anywhere in the company

Initially when ERP was deployed at Sonic Biochem only selected users were
given access and they required an ERP client on their system to be able to
access ERP. Rest of the users were dependent on one or two ERP PC's to get
information from ERP.
To solve this problem, the company has deployed a web based client module to
make ERP accessible to everyone in the organization including its personnel in
factories so that no one is dependent on limited systems running ERP client. As
the company has built its in-house ERP solution, which they had to modify
frequently as per the changing requirements of time, everything went web-based.Now
they don't need to redeploy ERP on all machines, which would have been a tedious
job. However, the information flow has become faster across the organization.
Equally the employees are happier now since they can access the required
information from anywhere in the organization as everything is available at a
central location.
