Apollo Tyres has offices in 150+ locations across India and all the applications are are centralized to run from the corporate office in Gurgaon. For this purpose Apollo has WAN connectivity from Gurgaon to all its locations. Eariler Apollo Tyres was using FR VPN Network Services from HCL wherein the last mile was provided by one of the country's major service provider s for the last 4 years but the company was having a hard time with service providers in last mile issues. This was resulting a huge amount of downtime for the business for these 150+ locations. So Apollo decided to migrate to another service provider who could provide higher uptime and better performance.

Apollo tyres finally decided to migrate to Reliance communications and migrated 80% of its network. The company achieved enormous benefits after migration. The foremost benefit is the commercials wherein the organization could save about 1 crore a year. Since the locations were provided with higher bandwidth it resulted in higher satisfaction from the end customers. The challenge faced during implementation were convincing customers at all locations about the teething problems they might face. Given the company's expansion plans, this network might be extended to global locations.
