These days, every small organization needs to have a website for making its presence online. Site Studio 6, from Effective Studios is a simple Web editor that creates websites with professionally designed looks, which are easy to update and also are optimized for search engines. The software offers WYSIWYG editing and automatically generates the XHTML code for the designed web-pages.

How to use
after installing the Site Studio Pro 6 provided in this month's DVD, you can start up with website creation. The first step involves selecting a template for your website and filling out the form for naming the project. Though the software provides a good selection of contemporary templates, you can also opt to start building the site with your own design. Once done with selecting the template, the interface opens which has two main views- Layout and Content.

The second step is to modify the content of the Web-pages provided by the template and do modifications to the layout of the templates. The document editing can directly be done through Content View by selecting the Edit button. In Edit mode there are taskbar buttons for hyper-linking text, inserting images and tables. You can set the site navigation scheme and also add documents under the Contents Root tree on the left pane. With the Layout View we do modifications to the layout scheme of a web-page. The CSS (cascading style sheets) is used to save the design layout, which allows to share code throughout website and is also search engine friendly. You can add keywords and description for your web-pages so as to make them more search engine friendly through Document Properties option. After designing and putting up your content to the web-pages you can test the site for deployment. Use the Upload Wizard to upload the documents to the domain space directly using FTP or deploy it locally to preview it. The wizard is intelligent enough to upload only those documents that have been changed. Site Studio produces clean HTML code that is optimized and in the source code there are no extra unreferenced tags. This software despite being expensive is a good tool for creating search engine optimized websites, easily.

With the Layout View the webpage layout can be designed and properties set using the Properties Box for each component	By using the Edit option in the Content View, one can  directly change the content and images on the webpage
