Like the Zebronics 8800GT and MSI 8800GT, this one's also based on the 8800GT chipset from NVIDIA. But it comes with 256 MB of GDDR3 RAM, which is lower than what MSI or Zebronics have. It is slightly over-clocked with a core clock speed of 650 MHz and memory clock speed of 1.6 GHz. And like the MSI card, it doesn't have HDMI support, but supports HDCP. Apart from this, all other features like SLI, HDTV and dual DVI are present. This card didn't perform as well in our tests as the MSI or the Zebronics card but that's mainly due to its lesser memory. In 3D Mark06 a score of 10,736 is considered good enough for any card but it is still less than what MSI 8800GT or Zebronics 8800GT cards scored. In fact the score is even lesser than the ATI Radeon HD3850, which is the cheapest card in this range. In gaming tests though, the card was somewhat disappointing. In Company of Heroes, it scored 101.5 fps which is much lower than what we got from the other two 8800GT cards. In Unreal Tournament 3 though, it recovered some lost pride with a score of 61.2 fps in UT3, higher than what we got from ATI Radeon HD3850 and comparable to MSI and Zebronics 8800GT cards. In Crysis it managed a score of 27.1 fps at max setting, which is at par with what we got from MSI and Zebronics 8800GT cards and is higher than the ATI Radeon HD3850. Overall this is the most expensive card in its class even though its performance is not anything spectacular over the two lower priced competitors.

Bottomline: There are other 8800GT cards available that not only perform better but also command a lesser price.
