This MFD from Canon comes with all the necessary features like print, copy, fax and scan required for a typical small office. The feature that stands out from other similar MFDs reviewed in the past issues is that, MF 4370dn comes ready with iPv6 compatibility which means more networked users can connect to it. Features that make this product eco-friendly include Auto-Duplex Printing for printing on both sides with just single button press, low power consumption in energy saver mode (app 3W), and Energy Star and RoHS compliant. To enhance efficiency of MF 4370dn, number of different innovative techniques are used like on-demand fixing technology for minimum first print time, UFRII technique that integrates computers and MFD's RAM for fast processing which in turn speeds up printing, and UHQ technology for crisp and clear fax images. Other noticeable features of MF 4370dn include unique z-lid for copying and scanning thick documents and neat operational panel with all the necessary buttons. To check performance of this MFD, we carried out different printing and scanning test. MF 4370dn was able to print first page in 7 seconds while number of pages printed in one minute came out to be 23. Both these results are better than MF4320d reviewed in Jan 2009. Time taken to scan full page color document took 8 sec which is similar to MF4320dn while copying took just 7 sec.
