Swastik Pipes-ERP Implementation

In order to consolidate daily business information and improve inter-branch
communication, Swastik Pipes implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV 3.7 at its New
Delhi head office and at six other branches. They also integrated two of their
manufacturing facilities via a comprehensive IT solution. They now have a
centralized IT architecture and streamlined business information.
Earlier, Tally was used as the accounting software. At the end of every
month, trial balances were sent from offices at different locations to the head
office, where accounts were consolidated. The company was badly missing a
centralized information solution.
The implementation of Dynamics NAV was completed in six months, and modules
for General Ledger, Sales, Receivables and Payables and Inventory were
implemented. The company is now realizing real-time consolidated information and
is able to offer better services to its customers. With intelligent inventory
management system, they are now able to do with minimum required inventory
levels. Better material procurement planning with Envision has helped them save
5 percent on material costs. Inter branch collaboration has also improved
significantly. Now, the production team is familiar with the orders placed by
the sales department, which has integrated and improved the whole system.
