In the overall combination of performance, price and features, this printer was the best as compared to Canon and Lexmark. It scored the highest in features and pricing compared to the other two printers in its category.
 One thing that you would love about this printer is its management software, which is surprisingly the same as the other Brother printer in spite of the huge price differential. It does not end here, the machine also offers a built-in auto duplexer, which comes optional in a high-end printer like the one from HP, and is non-existent in the other two brands in the shootout.
 This printer offers a duty cycle of about 20,000 pages a month. Another area it that it excels in is the price per print. At about 80 paise per page it is just behind the other brother printer that is about 60 paise per page. It can print on bond paper, recycled paper, and transparencies, in addition to plain paper. To top it all, the price tag of 30k is with a three year warranty is quite aggressive to counter biggies like HP and Canon.
Thus, by offering a good price performance ratio the printer stands out in our ratings. Way to go brother!
