This dot matrix printer from Wipro has a rich set of features and gives good quality prints. It’s a 9-pin, 136-column printer, and comes with drivers for MS-DOS, Windows 3.11/ 9x/ NT/2000 on 1.44 MB floppies. A couple of DOS printing utilities are also packed in. The printer’s control panel has buttons to set parameters like font, pitch, etc. These can also be used to set various paper handling modes, like online micro feed, cutting edge adjust, and buffer clear mode.

The printer’s paper handling capabilities are pretty good, and it also supports various paper sizes. It has a buffer of 64 kB, and supports five fonts to print at five different pitches. The fonts include Draft, Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, and Script; while the pitches are classified as 10,12,15, condensed, and proportional.

The printer costs Rs 10,500, which is good considering its rich features and paper handling capabilities.
